Amber McKain is a senior student who started her Karate journey
by studying
with Sensei Sabah Saud back in 1989. After taking several years off,
she returned to the school in 1999. Amber is a senior student that instructs
several junior classes at the southwest school. She placed
2nd in Kumite at the 2002 USKK Nationals.
Amber is married and a stay-at-home mother for her two year old daughter. She starts graduate courses in Education this fall.

learning experience as a karate-ka. The necessity of seeing
Karate from a child's perspective has not only enhanced my understanding,
but has greatly improved my teaching skills."
