 I started Karate in 1983 at the age of 28. I had played Racquetball for
Quite a few years, but was looking for something a little more rewarding.
I definitely got what I was looking for, and then some.
I was Sensei Saud’s first Shodan(black belt). I currently hold the rank of Sandan (3rd degree black belt). I have won the USKK Grand Nationals in 1994 and again in 1995, as well as
other various semi-local tournaments. .
I am married with six children, and three beautiful grand-children.
I work at Home Lumber in sales and purchasing. .
"Studying Karate has been an interesting and rewarding journey,
one which I feel I am still just beginning. I have made some very
close friends. Some have gone their own way, and others who
have had the courage and commitment to stay, have become family."
